ポットケル Privacy Policy

Y'sworkApps (hereinafter referred to as the “Developer”) establishes this Privacy Policy regarding the handling of user information in the smartphone application “ポットケル” (hereinafter referred to as the “App”).
1. Basic Policy
The App is designed to assist users in checking whether furniture, home appliances, and similar items can be placed or moved through a route by using registered dimensions, floor plans, AR measurement results, and other information.
The Developer handles user information only to the extent necessary to provide the App and strives to clearly explain how such information is handled.
2. Information Stored on the Device
The App primarily stores the following information on the user's device:
・Registered floor plan information
・Registered information about furniture, home appliances, and other target items
・Saved confirmation information
・App settings
・Language settings
The current version of the App does not include any function that stores this information on servers or cloud services independently operated by the Developer.
The current version of the App also does not include a user account registration system independently operated by the Developer.
3. AR Measurement and Camera Use
The App uses the device camera and AR functions to assist with measuring walls, doors, windows, ceilings, and other dimensions.
The App uses Google Play Services for AR (ARCore), provided by Google.
ARCore may process device information, usage information, sensor information, information related to the camera, and other information for purposes such as providing AR functionality, maintaining and improving services, and analyzing usage.
The current version of the App does not include any function that sends or stores camera images used during AR measurement on servers independently operated by the Developer.
The App may apply dimensions and other measurement results obtained through AR measurement to floor plans created by the user.

4. Product Search
When the product search function is used, product search keywords entered by the user are sent to external product search services in order to retrieve product information.
The main services currently used are:
・Rakuten product search-related services
・Yahoo! Shopping-related services
The current version of the App does not include any function that stores product search keywords on servers independently operated by the Developer.
Information sent to these services is handled in accordance with the privacy policies and other applicable policies of the respective service providers.
5. Advertising
The App uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display advertisements.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect, use, or share information such as IP addresses, interactions with the App or advertisements, diagnostic information, advertising IDs, and other identifiers associated with the device or App for purposes including advertising, analytics, and prevention of fraudulent activity.
The App uses the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage user privacy choices related to advertising.
Depending on the user's region and other applicable conditions, Google-provided consent or privacy choice screens may be displayed within the App.

6. External Sales Sites and Affiliate Links
The App may open external sales websites in a browser when the user chooses to do so from product search results or other areas of the App.
After leaving the App, the handling of information, product purchases, payments, delivery, and other transactions are governed by the terms and privacy policies of the applicable external service providers.
The App may contain affiliate links.
If the user purchases a product or otherwise satisfies applicable conditions through an affiliate link, the Developer may receive compensation.
7. Inquiries
If the user contacts the Developer by email regarding the App, the Developer receives the user's email address, the contents of the email, and any other information voluntarily provided by the user.
This information is used to respond to inquiries, investigate issues, provide support, and communicate with the user when necessary.
Information provided through inquiries is retained for the period necessary to respond to the inquiry and maintain relevant support records, and is deleted when it is no longer necessary.
However, such information may be retained for a longer period when necessary to comply with laws, protect rights, address disputes, or for other legitimate reasons.
8. Purposes of Use
Information handled by the App and the external services used by the App is primarily used for the following purposes:
・Providing App functionality
・Providing AR measurement functionality
・Providing product search functionality
・Displaying advertisements
・Preventing fraudulent or improper use of advertisements and services
・Verifying operation, analyzing failures, and improving the quality of the App or SDKs
・Responding to user inquiries
9. Third-Party Services
The App uses services, SDKs, or APIs provided by third parties in order to provide its functionality.
The main services currently used include:
・Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK
・Google User Messaging Platform
・Google Play Services for AR (ARCore)
・Rakuten product search-related services
・Yahoo! Shopping-related services
Information collected by third-party services is handled in accordance with the terms and privacy policies of the respective service providers.
10. Data Retention and Deletion
Floor plans, target items, confirmations, settings, and other data stored by the App are retained on the user's device.
Such local data may be deleted when the user deletes the relevant data, clears the App's data through the operating system, uninstalls the App, or performs similar actions.
Because the Developer does not store such local device data on independently operated servers, the Developer cannot remotely delete or restore data stored on the user's device.
Retention and deletion of information processed by third-party services are governed by the policies of the respective service providers.
11. Secure Handling of Information
The Developer strives to avoid unnecessary collection or transmission of information handled by the App.
Official data such as floor plans, target items, confirmations, and settings is generally managed within the App's local storage and is not transmitted to servers independently operated by the Developer.
Communications with external services use the official APIs, SDKs, and communication methods provided by those services.
12. Advertising and Privacy Choices
When advertising-related privacy choices are required based on the user's region or other conditions, Google-provided advertising and privacy settings may be available through the App's settings screen or other applicable areas.
The content and available choices may vary depending on the user's region, device, Google service settings, and other conditions.
13. Changes to External Services
The information handled by the App may change as a result of changes to the specifications of third-party services, SDKs, or APIs.
If this occurs, the Developer will review this Privacy Policy as necessary.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
The Developer may revise this Privacy Policy due to changes to App functionality, services used by the App, applicable laws or policies, or other circumstances.
If there are important changes, the Developer will provide notice through the App, the webpage where this Privacy Policy is published, or another appropriate method.
